Overview:
This help-doc will help you learn how to edit pages using your WordPress Ubie Dashboard and Premium Visual Composer, which are included in your monthly fee with us.
Step Guide:
1. Login to your Ubie Dashboard
Place /wp-admin/ at the end of your URL to access your website's backend control panel. Please see your website login email, which we will send when you complete your website. If you need to reset your password, please click 'Lost your password?' or email support@ubie.co.uk.
2. Once in your dashboard, please click 'Pages' on the left-hand side menu.
3. In the list, click on the page name you want to edit, then click on the blue 'visual composer' button.
4. You will then enter the drag-and-drop Visual Composer edit to edit your page.
- Please be aware that the first load may take a few minutes for the editor to open, as it may need to be for updates and online download of assets.
Editing a text box:
When you hover over a text box, a green pencil icon will appear. Click the green pencil to edit the textbox.
Editing an image:
Hover over an image and click the green pencil. A panel will then appear on the left. Click the pencil icon near the image you would like to replace.
This will then open the media library, where you can upload an image.
Ensure the image is 'checked' and then click Select in the bottom-right-hand corner.
5. Save and publish changes
Click on the bottom left 'tick' box to publish and save your changes to your website. Please ensure you get the success message in the right-hand corner, or your changes may not be published.
